ik raad het je niet aan
maar als je iets van een kick al is die heel flauw wilt hebben is de enige manier snuiven
ik kopieer effe een stukje met waardoor het recreatief wordt en waarom het echt ten zeerste wordt afgeraden
DISCLAIMER: 120mg Vyvanse is in motion, expect a wall of text..... you have been warned.
Recreational use of Bupropion is extremely discouraged due to it's tendency to induce seizures when taken over the recommended dose!!! With that being said after all, humans are curious creatures and will try some questionable things in every lifetime, so might as well know whats happening to you.
OVERVIEW: Bupropion, or as it used to be known as Amfebutamone until it was renamed in 2000. Bupropion acts as an norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI) with a significantly higher affinity for norepinephrine than dopamine, which supposedly limits the drug's recreational/abuse potential, but we will get more into that later. It also acts as a non-competitive antagonists of numerous neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nACh receptors) . It is unique because unlike the majority of other antidepressants available Bupropion has no affinity for serotonin, doesn't cause sexual dysfunction (in some it can actually increase it), and it has a more bearable side effect profile with almost equal efficiency in treating depression. Bupropion is marketed under the trade name Wellbutrin and is actually one of the most frequently prescribed antidepressants in the USA, and while prescription only remains unscheduled. Bupropion is also marketed as a smoking cessation aid due to it being an antagonist to numerous nACh receptors but this has little to do with the point of this post so yeah.
MYTH #1: Bupropion has a high affinity for norepinephrine and very little for dopamine and therefore has no recreational value. MYTH#2: Bupropion taken orally has no recreational value while nasal intake can produce Cocaine-like experiences.
REALITY: During first-pass metabolism it would seem that Bupropion is almost entirely converted into Hydroxybupropion which has substantially more affinity for norepinephrine and significantly less affinity for dopamaine than Bupropion with equal impact on nACh receptors. So when Bupropion is taken orally think of it as a pro-drug, similar to how the pro-drug Lisdexamfetamine is converted into Dextroamphetamine in a sense, except in this case it is the opposite and the pro-drug Bupropion is more recreational. Taken from Wikipedia
AGAIN: Bupropion is not really a recreational drug due to significantly lowering the seizure threshold, so if your stash has ran dry and you insist on using it than at least be safe about it.

SUMMARY: Bupropion, if taken in a way where it can bypass your digestive system's first-pass metabolism, than yes, it will be similar to Cocaine.Compared to bupropion, hydroxybupropion is similar in its potency as a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (IC50 = 1.7 µM) (and likely also acts as a norepinephrine releasing agent, similarly to bupropion), but is substantially weaker as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor (IC50 = >10 µM).
