-The conference started on a Friday 13th,next day was full moon and everyday there was sunshine (but very cold). And the Astrologist/apologist who made a horoskop for a 100 year old men didn't take notice...yes I'm scientist.
-Hofmann took LSD last time when he was 97.
-Shulgin works on the 5-Ethoxitryptamins and other stuff
-deadline for submitting new compounds for the Psychedelic Index (1500pages...please submit it with your name for reference, otherwise he can't prove it)) is middle of this year, there will also be a 3rd book ("QUIHKAL" lol) with different chemicals including Quinolins. But Sasha and Ann feel exhausted,PLEASE PLEASE TAKE CARE OF IT!
-heard DOTFM has initial activity at 300ug
-2C-TFM was brought up to 15mg (strong,I recollect 5mg being a full dose in me,the other gives 6-15mg as the range)
-it can't be coincidence that LSD searched for a bright chemist in a peaceful country at the same time of WW2 and the first atomic bomb exploded
-a lot of research still going on,Nichols will publish a new paper describing the full psychedelic receptor/transmitter pathways (if I got that right)
-Vollenweider (Heffter) made an interesting discovery about some glutamat uptake inhibitor plus an enzyme inhibitor (also a new paper coming),many new brain scans from new human studies with psilocybin (because less stigmatized than LSD) and Ketamin
-Charles grob presented data on a study with terminal cancer patients, very impressive, about 70% of individuals had good or medium success
-MAPS is positive to get permission to do studies with MDMA and maybe psilocybin (Rick Doblin of course is an optimist)-he also says that we shouldn't label us "counterculture",this will only evoke counterpressure from the authorities. In turn, they might listen. There appears a new psychedelic generation to evolve, more pragmatic less drop outs, also in the society a new more open generation comes forth, hasn't been influenced/traumatized by the sixties-hippy-LSD-Vietnam cluster.
-the CIA added a lot of bad press on LSD intentionally and did itself nasty torture stuff under LSD
-I learned a huge deal of psychotherapy,it already works, the day after I feel extremely relaxed and happy!
-there was a wonderful collection of psychedelic art
-the mysteries of Eleusis appear to be a fact
-many shiny friendly warm people,no bad incidents during the conference.Altough I have seen a few (old ones) which looked like "broken".
-Rolf Verres,a doctor, said take care, and also do take care of others, particularly the young people!
Very important:Albert Hofmann wants LSD to be taken out of the forbidden status, but emphasizes strongly to put it into the category of SACRED DRUGS.He's a man who is increasingly worried about the materialism/destruction of the world,we should all more and more deeply appreciate the CREATION and nature,LSD can be a help.In every other sentence he brings out a small wisdom, wow is he still alert-a wise old men!He closed with saying that we all showed to him that his problemchild is really a wonderchild.God bless him.
Okay, thats about the chaos I have in my brain right now to find its right place...

LSD - three letters that changed the world. Since 19 April 1943, the day Swiss chemist Dr. Albert Hofmann discovered this psychoactive substance, millions of people all over the world have experienced a higher reality with profound and psychological insights and spiritual renewal; created innovative social transformation, music, art, and fashion; were healed from addiction and depression; experienced enlightened insights into the human consciousness.
Some 60 years later more than 80 experts from all over the world will present an in-depth review of all aspects of this unique phenomenon, informing and discussing history, experiences, implications, assess the risks and benefits of this most potent of all psychoactive substances. LSD - a challenge in the past, now, and in the future.
