Wel gebruikt tegen reisziekte en om opioïden te versterken en de side effects zoals misselijkheid tegen te gaan. Scopolamine geeft een extreem droge mond, maar het werkt wel goed samen met opioïden om bovenstaande redenen. Werkt een beetje zoals sommige antihistamines goed samen gaan met opioïden, het versterkt het effect ook lichtelijk.
