Paris Denies Cocaine Chat
Paris Hilton has had to defend herself against reports she has been using drugs.
The rumours started when the hotel heiress was photographed leaving a New York eatery, apparently with a white mark visible in her nose.
The New York Daily Post printed the photo and implied that Paris had been taking cocaine.
She had just had lunch with her friend Brandon Davis and was snapped getting into her car.
But her spokesman, Elliot Mintz, slammed the rumours, saying: "They asked me if Paris was using cocaine.
"I explained that she does not use narcotics.
"They asked what the substance could have been. I explained that I was not there... so I offered some possible explanations."
When asked if any action will be taken against the Daily Post, Elliot said: "They did not make a specific charge. So, I am inclined to let it be for the moment.
"Of course, Paris shall reserve all of her legal options."
