Shrooms vs Truffles

Hello,

I thought this might be a good place to go for information on truffles I had in Amsterdam...

I'm going to try shrooms and am trying to figure out the equivalent amount for how many truffles I had in Amsterdam. I had 15g of truffles (sclerotia) which was called "Royal Beluga". Can anyone help me with this?

The most common kind: Psilocybe Cubensis. I ended up taking 1/16 oz, which felt about half as powerful as the 15g of truffles. I understand if you double your dose of shrooms, you won't necessarily feel twice the effects, but likely more. Keeping that in mind, I'd say truffles were roughly 4 or 5 times less potent than Cubensis.

I think the most common dose of psilocybe cubensis was 20 grams (fresh) when shrooms were legal. Since I don't really feel a big difference between the truffles and the shrooms in the smartshops, I'd say 20 grams will give a simular effect to 15 grams of truffles.

Keep in mind that every trip is different and that the effects may be different even when you take the same amount of the same truffles.

For this reason it's very diffucult to compare truffles with shrooms.
