Dit stukje gaat over een gast die in een kleine 10 jaar tijd 40.000 x-pillen naar binnen werkte. :openmouth:

40,000 ecstasy pills later…

The largest recorded number of ecstasy pills to have been taken by a single human being has now leapt from a whopping 2000 to an extraordinary 40,000.

Doctors at London University, UK, report on a British man who took the pills over a nine-year period. He started taking around 5 pills per weekend at age 21. By age 26, and for four years after, he was taking 25 pills per day.

The man, now 37, stopped taking the pills at age 30, after several serious collapses. He still suffers from severe physical and mental health side effects. These include a swiss-cheesed short term memory (though his long term memory is not too bad), paranoia, hallucinations and depression. And his neck and jaw often become rigid, preventing him from opening his mouth. :P

"This was an exceptional case. His long-term memory was fine but he could not remember day to day things – the time, the day, what was in his supermarket trolley...More worryingly, he did not seem aware himself that he had these memory problems." - Dr Christos Kouimtsidis, consultant psychiatrist at St George's Medical School, London.

Ecstasy is often linked to clubbing and partying, but recent research suggests loud music makes the drug's negative effects worse, while other research finds that MDMA opens holes in the blood-brain barrier in rats. But some experts believe that psychedelic drugs have their place in treating some psychiatric illnesses.

Ik ben wel benieuwd of hij de hele dag wat thuis rondhing of dat hij ,mischien wel dankzij die x.t.c, heel veel dingen ondernam.
