Ode aan Peter Hammill

De man wiens composities en teksten mij blijven raken. De man die maar al te goed begrijpt wat je doormaakt. De man die iets van 30 solo albums op zijn naam heeft staan en er onlangs weer een heeft uitgebracht. Dat we er nog vele jaren van mogen genieten. Peter Hammill, bedankt voor al je prachtige werk.

Amen.

En natuurlijk mogen we zijn geweldige zangstem niet vergeten waarmee hij zijn geniale teksten altijd perfect tot uiting weet te brengen.

heeft hij altijd solo dingen gemaakt of is hij ook bekend van een band?

Hij is begonnen bij de band Van Der Graaf Generator. Ik heb een tijdje terug eens een recentie geschreven van een album van hun.
